Description

With its combination of a versatile general wide lens and a specialized 1:2 macro optic, the Canon RF 35mm F1.8 Macro IS STM Lens is a compact, lightweight, and close-focusing option for photographers. Its advanced optical design is enhanced by a Super Spectra coating, ensuring optimal contrast and color accuracy even in bright or backlit conditions. Additionally, with a minimum focusing distance of 6.7" at half life-size, this lens is perfect for capturing close-ups of plants, as well as street scenes and landscapes. The wide f/1.8 aperture provides enhanced control over depth of field and is ideal for working in various lighting conditions. This is complemented by a highly effective five-stop image stabilization, which reduces the impact of camera shake for improved handheld shooting. The addition of an STM motor allows for remarkably quiet and seamless autofocus, with the option for full-time manual focus override. An adaptable Control Ring on the lens enables adjustment of exposure settings, such as ISO, aperture, and exposure compensation.
