Sony HVLF20M Flash runs on two AAA batteries and includes a terminal protector cap and carrying case for on-the-go convenience. This unit is designed to be used with Sony's Multi Interface Shoe; however, older Sony/Minolta Auto-Lock Accessory Shoes can be adapted with the ADP-AMA Shoe Adapter for full compatibility.
